From East to West

The NBA season is now done and the playoff seedings are confirmed with the difference for some of these teams being as little as 1 or 2 games.

Alot of people thought that Cleveland would cruise through to the finals again this year, but perhaps we should think again? Do the Warriors have something to fear after seeming untouchable all season?

It’s definitely playoff time. Are you ready?

kobe_2006_chestpound

With Kobe’s final season coming to its close in less than 2 weeks, how could we not go back in time to the Bean’s MVP year of the 2005-2006 NBA season. The great debate about which of Bryant’s 20 year career always falls back on this great season and it’s not hard to see why.

Come take a trip with us after the jump and revisit the man that was Kobe Bryant from ’05-’06.

Zero Dark 23

2015nbafinalsgametwovt3hamewpagx

For weeks now we’ve heard LeBron this and LeBron that, but in those last few weeks something that this LeBron is doing has changed and its almost perfect timing as the Cavaliers gear up for a playoff run.

For LeBron however, at this point in his career he has shown that even with all the talks about him being out-shined by the Warriors and Steph Curry, he still manages to fool everyone (at least the media) into thinking he’s regressed and borderline done.

But for James, the playoffs are just starting and so is his NBA season

Ben Simmons was everybody’s unanimous #1 pick this upcoming NBA Draft but perhaps there may be another player that has emerged as the front-runner for teams around the NBA.

At 18 years old, the young freshman Brandon Ingram has been a key part of Dukes great regular season and soon to be a NCAA Tournament run. He has been pinned with Kevin Durant qualities and honestly it’s not hard to see why.

But what does Ingram do differently to Simmons?

This week in NBA news brought us a transaction that seems like it was a late bloomer in what could have been the most uneventful trade deadline ever.

The Brooklyn Nets decided to wave their “star” player Joe Johnson and throughout the week the talks didn’t seem to stop about where Joe would end up.

So Joe’s ultimate decision was an interesting one, especially when we consider the playoffs and Johnson’s intentions.

Is the All-Star game in trouble?

After an amazing Saturday night on the eve of the last day in the 2016 NBA All-Star weekend the only thing left to do was play out the All-Star game, or as most knew it – Kobe Bryant and the Western All-Stars vs. The East.

A great warm-up event that saw Karl-Anthony Towns take the crown.

It was a great battle as the newest addition to the Skills Challenge requiring the players to hit a 3 point shot at the end proved to produce the “edge-of-your-seat” moments.

KAT beat out Boston’s Isaiah Thomas and helps win it for team bigs!
